Big Sky Packer and Guide School
Thank you for inquiring about our Guide School. We have been in the business of outfitting for over 18 years. 98% of our students have successfully completed the course and we have been able to place all who have wanted to work. These jobs have been in guiding, packing, cooking, wrangling and anything to do with outdoor recreation.
Many outfitters get their guides through us and are very satisfied with our students. By keeping our classes small, we can guarantee that we are able to place all our students. Our students come from all over the country. We feel that if they are taking that big step, both expense and time wise, they deserve a school that will make the decision worthwhile. Some of our graduates have gone beyond just guiding and into positions as: head guides, outfitter foreman, partnerships and some into their own businesses.
We are a full-time outfitting business and take this very seriously. Since we outfit ourselves, we know what other outfitters are looking for in a qualified guide. We don’t just run the school and forget about you. Graduates may call us at any time and we will help with a job placement.
